This continues our list of weak banks from around the country.

Weak banks can cause problems for depositors and creditors. Below you’ll see a list of banks considered weak by many resources and given a weak rating, investors are being told to sell holdings in the bank.

To read the report, you’ll notice the bank name then the word “SELL” identifying investors are being told to sell their holdings in the named bank and then you’ll notice the bank’s rating. Bank ratings are identified as follows: An (A) rating is the best and strongest rating a bank can have. An (E) rating is the worst and lowest score a bank can have and warning signs appear to investors. Use our information to further your educational knowledge about banking. We are not bankers and do not make recommendations for our readers, we provide public records information for educational purposes.

  1. why is american founders bank considered so weak? I was interested in purchasing a cd? is this a good idea?

    I don’t give banking or financial advice. I report the facts. If you want to know why any bank is weak, look at their financials and ask them. If you decide to purchase a certificate of deposit from them, I’m sure they should provide you with the financials.
