There is no bank spelled the way you spelled their name. As for banks throughout the country – we give information on banks all over the United States. There is a bank called 1st United Bank located in Boca Raton, Florida that has a very weak rating of (D+). If this is not the bank you are interested in, look at the bank’s information sheet they give and give me the specific name and spelling.

SunTrust Bank has many articles in our archives – please read through the archives. SunTrust’s corporate office has a very low rating which includes all branches.

BBVA is Bancomer USA and based in Diamond Bar, California. BBVA is rated a (D)
A (D) rating is considered “weak” – hope that helps.

I heard that Bank of America,Wells Fargo, and City Bank will be out of business by March. Is there any substance to this?

Carolina First is based in Greenville SC and is rated a (D)
Mercantile Bank has several offices:
Illinois Rated (D+)
Missouri Rated (A)
Michigan Rated ( D-)
No South Carolina.
About Capital Bank – there are 4:
Jacksonville Rated (E+)
Sunrise Rated (D)
Marianna Rated (D)
Ft. Myers Rated (D)

You might want to ask the Capital Bank in Starke, what office is their corporate office. Hope that helps.

You may not be as informed as you think. I never said Il or NY banks were helping Florida banks and any implication is your misunderstanding, not mine. It appears you have personal gain from Riverside from your post. If you read the information on this blog, it is clearly repeated many times we are not giving financial advice but posting public record information and we stand by our posts. One final point, our readers are very intelligent and research financial institutions and if they don’t, they receive bank information from potential banks of their future business.

Dear Detective

In posting information for consumers such as myself, please be a little more thorough in listing banks with the same name as being connected. Case in point, your September 2008 posting regarding Riverside Bank having 6 locations and making a comment wondering whether the NY and IL banks were helping the FL banks financially (my paraphrasing). As a stockholder in the Florida Riverside Banking Companies — these are in NO WAY CONNECTED — not by persons, etc….. They just happen to be using the same name Riverside; no board of directors, or any other types of affiliations etc… that may cross over as in the case of the three (now two) Florida banks RNB of Fort Pierce and Riverside of Central Florida.
